Jon earned his BA in Psychology from CU Boulder and returned to his home state to complete his Masters in Counseling from Mount Mary University in Milwaukee.
His early clinical experience was shaped by dual diagnosis work at the outpatient level in high needs areas of Milwaukee. He shifted focus to the partial hospitalization level of care moving between serving adolescents and adults with acute and severe mental health and substance use disorders.
Jon has now returned to the Fox Cities to serve the community he grew up in. Though Mend was started in Appleton, clinical services are now available to all residents of Wisconsin in digital form. Through Mend Counseling Jon believes that a personal connection can be made, issues addressed, and a new way forward can be forged.
