Michelle’s life aspirations are to work with the individual and honor their unique personal journey. She works from a strength-based, collaborative, and experiential place to help guide individuals through all of the challenges that life can throw at them.
Together Michelle will work with you to develop skills that will allow you to better manage your emotions and create healthier relationships in your life. This collaboration will work toward stripping away false beliefs, embracing your own unique gift and together you will create a safe space for empowerment and possibilities.
We are all so different and have different learning styles, therapy is not a one size fits all experience. In Michelle’s eight years of experience working in higher levels of care, she has accumulated many different therapeutic techniques that will be offered during your time in therapy, to see which approach will fit best. Her approach can vary between, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral therapy (DBT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), Person-Centered Therapy, Art Therapy, and Trauma focused treatment modalities.
Therapy is an overwhelming step to take when you are struggling, but a necessary and powerful one. To take action and get involved in our own healing is courageous.
Congratulations on making that commitment to you.
