Lori believes it requires true courage to seek out assistance. Lori understands seeking assistance can feel overwhelming and sometimes frightening. Seeking assistance, though, is strength. She describes her approach to therapy as person-centered, humanistic, and strives to provide services which are what you need right at this moment. Whether you need someone to hear your story, explore your future goals, or rediscover your strengths, your voice matters. Lori’s primary focus is working with adults. She uses several treatment modalities to include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and she has specialized in treating anxiety, loss, and grief. Her clients appreciate her genuine, down-to-earth manner, her empathy, and her warm acceptance of where they are in the present moment, no matter what that looks like. She is sincerely dedicated to hearing you, helping you, and she is honored to walk the path with you to find a sense of calm and discover joyful meaning in your everyday experiences.
Lori is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in WI and NC who earned her undergraduate degree from Mt. Saint Mary’s University in Maryland and her graduate degree in Counseling from The University of Tennessee. Lori has been a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor since 2018 and a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor since 2008 and has provided counseling services in many settings.
She has provided substance abuse services in correctional facilities and career guidance for college students. In addition, she has worked extensively with active duty and retired military.
Lori enjoys nature and nature photography and spends at least a few minutes each day appreciating the outdoors and watching for wildlife.
